They insist that they are bonafide
staff of the Nigeria Immigration Service, having gone through what they describe as the most intensive recruitment exercise ever in the history of the service.
The Immigration Service said there were irregularities in their recruitment process that led to their suspension.
But the protesters also claimed that there was nothing irregular about their appointments.
