The Sultan noted fears in some quarters that there was a grand plan to turn Nigeria into an Islamic State.The Sultan also appealed to Christians and
Muslims across the world to desist from making comments insinuating that anyone was out to Islamise Nigeria.
While noting that both Christians and Muslims have always lived together since Nigeria’s amalgamation, Alhaji Abubakar recommended dialogue as the best option to address some of the socio-political challenges in the country.
